Thanks to the mobility programs of the European Union, we have organized various activities that have allowed us to meet, host and work in contact with many European peers.
With some of them we shared small projects, with others more intense periods of collaboration.
In 2013 we organized "RIDE IT", a project in which we hosted 30 young people for a week, in a campsite in Santa Maria di Leuca. Numerous activities were organized during the project to promote an active and healthy lifestyle.
The people hosted came from the following associations:
- Beyond Barriers, ALBANIA
- Better Life in Kosovo, KOSOVO
- Fund for Society, LATVIA
- Youthnet Cyprus, CYPRUS
- Asha Centre, ENGLAND
In 2017, thanks to the European volunteer project (EVS), we hosted Filipa and Louis for 6 months who came respectively from Portugal and England. Both have been of great support in starting our Salento Bike Cafè.
